I'm working on slipcovers for a friend's dining room chairs. It is the project from Hades and I have put it off for two years. I finally decided to quit worrying about it and just get it done and out of my life.

Well done, always nice to get to backlogged projects. I'm sure they'll be happy -- and probably a little surprised too. I'm impressed you stuck with it even after two years, but hey, now you won't have it bugging you any more

Don't be too impressed. I see her every week. She doesn't care that it's taken this long. (I don't work well without deadlines.) The good news is, one of the reasons I'm working on it again is I'm coming out of a period of 'burn-out' from trying to do my hobby as a job. I have loathed touching my sewing machine for several, several months now, when it used to be my favorite thing to do.

Oh... I have the best news. Two new animals arrived at my house today. Two little GOATS! Oh man. One of my goats is named Mick and the other is named Bentley! Soon I'll have a picture of my goats up along with a picture of my pigs if I get bored enough while it is still light out tonight. If I don't do it tonight then DEFINITELY I'll do it tomorrow.

To think, it took 1 1/2 hours to have my computer moved to one of my companies other buildings (and its probley about 100 feet away if that), another hour or more to have the guy put it INTO the room I'm working, then another HOUR to have the IT guy come and bring some extension cords so I can get some power to this thing.

*Sigh* And the cable line was too short so I had to put it across and over tables and stuff. (I'm working in a board room for the next month and half roughly.) The IT guy finally brought a 50 foot cord (HAHA, talk about long. A 30 would have done.) so I could decorate the room with blue it seems. =\

One decent thing about this job, is if I need extension cords or 50 foot long cable lines... *Whisles innocently...* I consider them a loan for my home. =)

Heres my probley one post in the thread for the day. Its kinda like my blog, odd updates. *Shrugs*

Well, there is rest, but I find if I don't have work work, I have forum work. @_@ Still trying to find time between all my forum work to update all those millions of indexs I set up all over the place. Apparently I heard the Q&A forum is becoming hell in a handbasket just waiting for someone to pull back the cover. Lots of spam and repeat threads ALL over the place in there. Figure I'll just bury the basket in cement if and when I get mod-hood in that section of the forum. (Yes, its one area I can't do my special work in!)

This room looks so stupid, LoL, I should try and bring a webcam into work and take a picture. Its probley... 20 feet long by 8 feet wide... Maybe 6 feet wide. One end is a door, the other the window. I mananged to get my computer set up on a desk that lets me look out a window! I HAVE A WINDOW OFFICE! (Watches woman flock to him, best pickup line ever!) The desk is a little too short, so my chair has to be lowered down, and since its not that wide, I don't have a lot of leg room which is causing one of my feet to... Hm, not sure what to say... Its extreamly sore lately, and it cracks when I walk, so does the ankle a bit. Not sure if its how I drive... I have really long legs, and an hour drive to work and back home every day.

I put my heel on the mat, in one spot, and kind of 'rotate' my foot from the gas pedel to the break when needed. I don't really have enough room to keep lifting my leg up and putting it on each peddel. And I drive an Intrepid, if anyones been in the 'new' ones you KNOW they have a lot of leg room, so thats how damn long my legs are. Next vechile I buy is going to be a damn truck of some kind. Only for more years and this car is paid for. LoL.

And no coffee for me, I'll take an Icecap from Tim Hortons, and one of their new cinimin buns. Sounds yummie.

At least I get Friday off, which I think is already booked with crap. Grrrr.
